What Makes This Chicken Macaroni Different

Boil with oil. A little oil in the boiling water stops the macaroni pieces from sticking together.

Chicken sauce first. The chicken, onion and tomato are cooked into a masala first, and the boiled macaroni goes in last.

Vegetables kept crunchy. Capsicum, carrot and peas cook only 2-3 minutes so they stay fresh.

Two sauces. Soya sauce and red chilli sauce at the end give the Chinese-style taste.

Ingredient Notes

  • Macaroni: do not overcook it; it will cook a little more when it is tossed in the pan.
  • Chicken: boneless, cut into small cubes.
  • Vegetables: capsicum, carrot and boiled peas; do not overcook them.
