Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 750 g chicken boneless, cut into small pieces
  • 2 medium onions chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes chopped
Spices
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp ginger paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 2 cups water
For Garnish
  • 1/4 cup yogurt
  • 3-4 green chilies chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander seeds

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Heat oil in a wok or large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and cook until they are translucent.
  3. Add garlic and ginger paste and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
Cooking
  1. Add chicken and cook until it is browned on all sides.
  2. Add red chili powder, salt, and 1 cup of water. Mix well.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Add yogurt, green chilies, cumin seeds, and coriander seeds. Mix well.
  5. Cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the sauce has thickened.
  6. Garnish with chopped cilantro and serve hot.

Notes

Serve hot with naan or rice. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
