Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and milk powder.
- Add the egg and mix well.
- Add the desi ghee and mix until the dough comes together.
- Gradually add the water and knead the dough for 5-7 minutes, until it becomes soft and smooth.
Kneading
- Apply some cooking oil or ghee to the dough and knead for another 2-3 minutes.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Shaping
- Divide the dough into 4-6 equal portions, depending on the size of paratha you prefer.
- Roll out each portion into a thin circle, about 6-7 inches in diameter.
Cooking
- Heat a non-stick skillet or tava over medium heat.
- Place a paratha on the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes, until it starts to puff up.
- Brush the paratha with some desi ghee and flip it over.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes, until the paratha is golden brown and crispy.

Notes
To store, wrap the parathas in a cloth and keep them in an airtight container. Serve with your favorite barbecue dish.
