Method
Step 1: Preparation
- Take 1 cup of yogurt and beat it well.
- Add 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste, 1 tsp of red chili powder, 1/2 tsp of coriander powder, and 1 tsp of turmeric to the yogurt and mix well.
Step 2: Marination
- Add the mutton pieces to the yogurt mixture and mix well.
- Add 1/2 tsp of salt, 3-4 cardamom, and 5-6 cloves to the mutton mixture and mix well.
Step 3: Cooking
- Heat 1 cup of cooking oil in a pan and add the mutton mixture to it.
- Cook the mutton mixture on high flame for 3-4 minutes, then reduce the flame to low and cook for 1-2 hours or until the mutton is tender.
Step 4: Finishing
- Add 3-4 chopped onions to the mutton mixture and cook until they are brown.
- Add a little water to the mutton mixture and cook for another 10-15 minutes or until the sauce thickens.

Storage: refrigerate 3 days, freeze 2 months. Reheat on stovetop.
