Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 300 g brain
  • 2 medium onions chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes chopped
  • 2 tbsp ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
Spices
  • 1 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 0.5 tsp turmeric powder
  • 0.5 tsp garam masala powder
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 tbsp yogurt
  • 1 tsp black pepper

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse the brain and cut it into small pieces. Set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and sauté the onions until they are translucent.
  3. Add the ginger and garlic paste to the pan and sauté for another minute.
Cooking
  1. Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and cook until they are soft.
  2. Add the cumin seeds, salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and garam masala powder to the pan and mix well.
  3. Add the brain pieces to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes or until they are tender.
  4. Add the yogurt to the pan and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the black pepper to the pan and mix well.
Final Touches
  1. Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with naan or rice.
  2. Serve hot and enjoy!
